Set right on Whitstable Harbour’s South Quay, The Harbour Garden Café is a relaxed waterfront spot inspired by East Coast seafood shacks. Expect fresh seafood, locally landed shellfish, cocktails, wines and local beers, all served with views across the working harbour.

A characterful family-run French bistro on Harbour Street, Birdies combines classic French cooking with fresh local and seasonal produce. Known for its seafood, traditional favourites and warm, intimate atmosphere, it’s a long-standing Whitstable favourite.
